    This superstar-penned (and penciled) mystery will effect everyone in the DC Universe, and will echo for months after the miniseries has ended. Not to mention the spectacular cover by Alex Ross AND Jim Lee! We're looking at another major event for DC, and at the ridiculously low cover price of $1, how can you beat it? Give it a read; you'll be glad you did!



    Lex Luthor: Man of Steel #1

    [Written by Brian Azzarello, art and cover by Lee Bermejo. Goes on sale March 2, 1 of 5, 32 pages, $2.99.]

    This miniseries is told from Lex Luthor's point of view, letting the reader get into the mind of one of Superman's most formidable enemies. Superman is portrayed as something he's rarely thought of: a villain! Don't miss out on all the action - check it out!




    Amazing Spider-Man # 518

    [Written by J. Michael Straczynski, penciled by Mike Deodato and Mark Brooks, cover by Joe Jusko. Goes on sale in March, 32 pages, $2.25.]

    This issue is the last in the four-part arc called "Skin Deep." Without the refuge of Aunt May during his trials, Peter is about to go through some major changes. It looks like a great one!





    X-Men: The End - Heroes and Martyrs # 1

    [Written by Chris Claremont, penciled by Sean Chen, cover by Greg Land. Goes on sale in March, 32 pages, $2.99.]
    This issue is part of the final story of the X-Men! With the Xavier Academy in shambles and hundreds dead, it's up to Cyclops and the survivors to find out who's visciously attacking the X-Men, and all mutants in general. A must-read for comic collectors (particularly X-Men fans.)




    Swan Vol. 1

    [Written by Ariyoshi Kyoko, art and cover by Ariyoshi. Goes on sale in March, 200 pages, $9.95.]
    Swan, a very popular manga in Japan, is about a girl who dreams of being a ballerina. In fact, after being read by a large amount of the population, this bestseller enrolled about 20% more students in ballet classes. All audiences will enjoy this, particularly shojo fans.     Daredevil #71

    [Written by Brian Michael Bendis, pencils and cover by Alex Maleev. Goes on sale in March, 32 pages, $2.99.]
    This issue vividly reveals the cleaning of Hell's Kitchen during the year that Daredevil was the new Kingpin, and is the first in the six part story-arc called "Decalogue." This one promises to be unforgettable! Thanks to Milt for the contribution!





    Stoker's Dracula #4

    [Written by Roy Thomas, pencils and cover by Dick Giordano. Goes on sale in March, 48 pages, $3.99, B&W.]

    Betty & Veronica Double Digest #132

    [Written by various, art by various. Goes on sale in March, 192 pages, $3.59.]

    Star Wars: Republic #74

    [Written by John Ostrander, cover art by David Michael Beck, art by Jan Duursema, Dan Parsons and Brad Anderson. Goes on sale March 23, 32 pages, $2.99.]
